The 360 Consultation

At Clinique AMÉ, every journey starts in the same place: the Consultation 360.

It isn't a formality before “the real appointment.” It is the appointment. It's where we look at your skin, your face, your habits and your goals as one connected picture — rather than as a list of treatments to tick off.

Here's exactly how it works.

Why we start with a consultation

Aesthetic medicine has a sequencing problem. Too often, someone arrives having already chosen their treatment — seen on social media, heard from a friend — and the appointment becomes order fulfilment.

The issue: the most popular treatment isn't always the one that addresses your actual concern. Dull skin can come down to hydration, pigmentation, sleep quality, cell turnover, or some combination of all four. Each cause calls for a different answer.

The Consultation 360 reverses the order. First we identify what's happening. Then we choose the tool.

An assessment that looks past the surface

A line, redness or loss of firmness doesn't appear in isolation. Cumulative sun exposure, sleep, stress and lifestyle all influence the state of your skin and how it responds to treatment.

That's why the Consultation 360 includes a full health history, as any rigorous medical or nursing practice would. It serves to personalize the aesthetic plan, set a realistic timeline, and identify contraindications.

That's the point of the 360. We go all the way around before choosing the tool.

What we assess

Your skin. Texture, hydration, pigmentation, redness, pores, elasticity, signs of sun exposure. The assessment may be supported by our imaging system, “Le Dôme,” which reveals things the eye can't see yet — underlying pigment damage in particular.

Your facial structure. Skin quality is only one layer. We also look at bone support, volume distribution, muscle tone, and how your face moves at rest and in expression.

Your health context. Sleep, general nutrition, stress levels, physical activity, relevant history, current medication, existing skincare routine. This part isn't a courtesy questionnaire — it determines eligibility for certain treatments and genuinely changes the recommendations.

Your goals. What you want, in your own words. And just as importantly: what you don't want. Some people want visible change; others mainly want nothing to look done. Both are legitimate goals, and they lead to very different plans.

How the appointment runs

You'll meet with a certified Nurse or Doctor. It's a conversation, not an interview.

We start by listening. Then we move to visual assessment and, where relevant, imaging analysis. We discuss the options that actually apply — what they do, what they don't do, what recovery looks like, what maintenance they imply down the line.

You leave with a written plan: what we recommend, in what order, at what intervals, and why.

A plan, not a sale

A plan might well begin with non-medical care. It might recommend fixing your at-home routine before adding anything in clinic. It might suggest waiting.

It might also conclude that a treatment you had in mind isn't indicated in your case. We'd rather tell you that at the consultation than afterward.

It's a staged plan, not a shopping cart.

Why injectables always go through the Consultation 360

For every new patient, the Consultation 360 is a mandatory prerequisite to any injectable treatment. That's a rule, not a suggestion.

Three reasons.

Safety. Injectable products carry real contraindications tied to medication, medical history, autoimmune conditions, pregnancy and breastfeeding. These need to be documented by a qualified professional beforehand — never mid-treatment.

Anatomy. Every face has its own vascular architecture. Proper assessment takes time and happens upstream, not in the minutes before a procedure.

The result. Injecting without a plan produces fragmented results. Injecting within a strategy produces a coherent face.

Our other categories — technologies, treatments, longevity and hair health — are open to direct booking.

Please note: our wellness and longevity services, including naturopathy, form a separate stream from our medical and nursing practice. They are not medical acts and are not part of the treatment plan established at the Consultation 360. They are booked separately.

How to prepare

  • Come without makeup if possible, or plan to remove it on site.

  • Bring a list of your current medications and supplements.

  • Write your questions down in advance. They rarely surface on their own in the moment.

  • If you have photos of yourself from a period you liked, bring them. They're often more useful than a long description.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the consultation take?

Plan for a full appointment. This isn't a ten-minute meeting.

Can I be treated the same day?

It depends on the treatment, availability and your plan. Some care can follow immediately; other treatments require skin preparation first. Your plan will specify.

Do I have to follow the whole plan?

No. It's a recommendation, not a commitment. You set the pace.

What if I'm already being treated elsewhere?

No problem. Tell us what was done, when, and with what if you know. That information improves the quality of our recommendations.

The Consultation 360 is the entry point to everything we do — and the only route to our injectable protocols.

We look forward to seeing you!
